Lawrence’s astronomy club will be celebrating Astronomy Day on May 11th at the Lawrence Public Library. They are looking for 2 – 3 older Scouts to help out during the afternoon – the event runs 12 – 3pm. It will be indoors and will not involve manual labor – class B’s are fine. If you happen to be working on Astronomy Merit Badge you could accomplish requirement 8d “Help an astronomy club in your community hold a star party that is open to the public.”
Adults welcome to help as well.
