Bicycle Rally at South Park Valet Service

– Troop 55 is in charge of the Bike Valet at South Park from 10:30-4:30 this coming Saturday April 23.

             – Mr. Burdick will be there the whole time: we need 2 more boys for each two hour shift.

Monday April 25th – Court of Honor at Burgess Scout Cabin

Court of Honor – Monday April 25th at 7pm. We will be at the Troop Cabin so bring lawn chairs to sit in, everyone in the family is invited! After the meeting we will be discussing Bartle summer camp for parents and Scouts and Sea Base for 2017.

Monday April 18th – Regular Troop Meeting

We will be finishing up Disabilities Awareness Merit Badge with a guest speaker from the Kansas Special Olympics, the Service Patrol will be cleaning at Kanwaka, and fundraiser money is due that evening. Don’t forget to do your assignments for Disabilities Awareness Merit Badge – visit a facility or your school and talk to someone in the profession as well as evaluating different places for accessibility or amenities for different types of disabilities.

Sea Base Treks getting started for 2017

SPL Nick runs a tight ship when organizing 2 potential Sea Base treks for 2017. Spring break or June are the options right now. Get ahold of Nick if you are interested, he went on the tall ship trek in 2015.

Troop 55 Eagles sing National Anthem at Royals Game – April 10, 2016

3 of our Troop 55 Eagles were in the Eagle Ensemble that sang the National Anthem at the Royals Game. Michael, Charlie, and Simon rocked it with other Pelathe Eagle Scouts from Troop 52, 53, 59, and 61. All attend Free State High School and sing in its’ choir. Good job Scouts!
