Brave Round Up – Saturday January 28th 7am
Mic-O-Say Brave Roundup is this Saturday. All 2016 Braves should attend.
7am meet at Cabin and depart for Lee’s Summit
1:30pm return to Cabin
Bring money for attire and lunch on the road in Lee’s Summit (think Wendy’s type lunch). Class A’s.

Scouts kept busy building their Klondike Derby sleds for the upcoming Pelathe District Klondike Derby in February. More pictures under the recent events/photos tab.

Monday Jan. 16th Martin Luther King Jr. Day
A Scout is Helpful…
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?” – MLK Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. was once a Scout just like you. According to this roster he was a Tenderfoot starting his 3rd year in Scouting. His dad was also a leader in the Troop.

Monday Jan 16th Regular Troop Meeting 7pm
Agenda:
Klondike Sled building, bring wood, tools, nails, screws, etc.
Knot Night with Mr. Moulton, anyone below First Class who needs knot requirements completed will rotate through.
Sea Base Trek Meeting 7:30: We will check off forms, health forms, passports, waivers, etc. and discuss travel arrangements
Merit Badge completion, bring your incomplete merit badge work and get help from a counselor to finish it.
Bring deposits or payments for summer camp!

Monday Jan 9 – PLC 6pm Troop Meeting 7pm
Monday Nights Meeting:
PLC 6pm – All SPL Staff, all Patrol Leaders, Troop Scribe, Troop Guides, and all Quartermasters attend.
Troop Meeting 7pm – Klondike Derby prep and planning, First Aid kits for 1st years, Merit Badge work for all boys who are Life Scouts. All Scouts bring their handbooks tomorrow.
Philmont Trek Deposits ($100) for the 2018 Trek are due by Jan. 16. If you are planning on going you must be 14 or older by May 2018.
Bartle Payments and Deposits are being taken as well.

IBEX Campout Agenda: It will be 8 degrees out tonight and in the 20’s during the day tomorrow. Check email sent out for cold weather and snowy camping. Be Prepared!
