Lane’s Eagle Court of Honor – Sunday April 3rd, 3pm at Westside

We would like to invite everyone to Lane N’s Eagle Court of Honor this Sunday, April 3rd at 3:00 p.m.  The ceremony will be held at West Side Presbyterian Church with a reception following.  For anyone with a role in the Court of Honor ceremony, practice will be at 1:30 p.m. that afternoon.
We look forward to seeing you there, Lane and Family.

Troop Meeting March 28th – 7pm

1. Bring Summer Camp Payments and get signed up if you have not done so. Bartle is critical to advancement (1st years complete 2 Eagle required merit badges, 2nd years complete 2 more Eagle badges, by their 3rd year they are already on line to be Star Scouts which requires 4 Eagle badges to be completed)

2. First years will be working with the Troop Guides and Mr. Moulton working on Scout Badge requirements.
3. Cit. in the Nation Merit Badge -those working on this bring their packets will be finished up with Mr. Messineo.
4. Personal Fitness Merit Badge – those working on this bring their packets and their progress on workouts to be checked by a leader.
5. All Mic O Say members are encouraged to bring Mic O Say attire that they wish to work on, especially those Braves up for warrior this coming summer. There will be a brief Mic O Say meeting prior to the attire workshop.
6. A short Bartle Summer Camp Presentation will occur in the Church Hall for all parents, Scouts and Scouters immediately following announcements (5 minutes)
7. Uniform inspection: Class A’s top to bottom get a prize.
8. Scoutmaster Conferences and boards of review will be held for the 4 boys who are currently signed up.

First Year Camp In – Saturday March 5


First Years, let’s get ready for some patrol building, Scout Badge work, a hike, grocery shopping on a budget, and our first crack at using a Coleman stove! It is time for the Camp In this Saturday March 5th-6th

Troop Guides and Senior Patrol Staff arrive 12:00 for set up

All new Scouts arrive a 12:30 for sign in, don’t forget permission slips, and any paperwork we discussed on Monday night.

Parents pick up Sunday Morning at 8:30am
